Hi there! I'm an AI engineer from the sunny city of Seville, Spain, with a deep-rooted passion for mathematics, statistics, and artificial intelligence.
My expertise lies particularly in Transformers, including LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation, and Semantic Search. I love the challenge of turning intricate algorithms into practical solutions that can make a real difference. In my work, I've had the opportunity to implement generative AI models and develop data pipelines that bridge unstructured and structured data.
Beyond the world of data and code, I'm an avid reader with interests spanning from philosophy and history to science, as well as fantasy and science fiction novels.
I have led an active life, playing rugby for ten years, an experience that taught me valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance and culminating in a national championship victory with my team. These days, I keep active with strength training and calisthenics.

ReAct Agent
A Python implementation of a ReAct (Reasoning and Acting) agent that synergizes reasoning and acting in language models. This project aspires to improve on the ReAct paper from ICLR 2023, aiming to combine the reasoning capabilities of language models with action execution using tools and assistants, by implementing new tools and mechanisms as agentic recursion.

Torch Tracer
An implementation of a raytracer in Python. It is a version of the raytracing algorithm highly optimized through parallelization with pyTorch and GPU acceleration. It allows for realistic rendering of 3D scenes with shadows, reflections, and refractions, showcasing a variety of 3D shapes and materials. A perfect example of the power of parallel computing.

Hero Embeddings
A 3D visualization of the multiverse of fictional heroes. Using cutting-edge NLP and data visualization, this project utilizes a transformer-based fine-tuned BERT model and embedding techniques to map out relationships between fictional characters across franchises.
